  I've spent the last 20 years in a traditional, Methodist church and have always been very hesitant to try a non-denominational church. My fiance and I recently moved to Forsyth, and spent some time church hopping to find something that fits our worship style. We found some churches that were very modern, up-beat, concert-like services, and other churches that has more traditional services like I am used to. All it took was one Sunday at the Vine to convince us that this was the church for us. Acoustic, mellow music, a relevant message with direct links to scripture, and you don't feel like you're entering a rock concert when you walk in. It's modern worship, but not TOO modern. Pastor Jon is great, the music is captivating, the members are friendly. You'll feel right at home!

  Very nice new buildling. Has a great, secure check-in system for the nursery and small children. Very nice people. Comfortable seating, though it fills up fast.
  
  First 30-40 minutes spent standing and singing along with contemporary band, singing praises. Good music, but seemed like a concert. Lasted way too long in our opinion.
  
  Pastor speaks for last 20-30 minutes. My husband and I went once and had a hard time understanding the message he was trying to get across. He gets very excited about his teaching and may begin shouting or go into spontaneous prayer. We, personally, found this overbearing and distracting. There is a lot of praying and praising God.
  
  If you like the contemporary Christian music and want a nice morning show, this may be good for you. If you are looking for teaching and a clear message, you may want to look elsewhere.

  Jon is an incredible pastor and loves everyone who walks though that door. The Vine is a place where Grace and Love abound.
